Diffusion Prize 2010 Results

The Diffusion Prize 2010 International Electroacoustic Music Composition Competition jointly presented by RTÉ Lyric fm and the Digital Media and Arts Research Centre (DMARC), University of Limerick – Ireland, aim is to promote ‘up and coming’ composers regardless of age or nationality. This year the Diffusion Prize 2010 received a total of 142 entries from 30 countries.

The First Prize was awarded to:
Loup Mormont (Belgium) for "Belle Inconnue"



2nd Prize was awarded to:
Rohan De Livera (Sri Lanka) for "Haiku"



3rd Prize was awarded to:
Oliver Carman (NOVARS Research Centre, UK) for "Saxy"

The Jury for the Diffusion Prize 2010 consisted of Robert Normandeau, Bernard Clarke, Jürgen Simpson and Robert Sazdov.
