Mark Pilkington: Sonic Arts Forum Huddersfield 7th of July confirmed introducers

The Sonic Arts Forum is holding a meeting as part of the week of speakers event at Huddersfield University on the 7th of July between 10am and 5pm. This is an open event where composers, using technology to produce music can introduce their work in a friendly, informal and supportive environment. All are welcome to attend either to introduce their work or participate in discussions. Previous events have covered everything from sonic weapons to music for fruit machines, with algorithmic composition, live electronics and acousmatic inbetween.
The confirmed introducers are Mark Pilkington (NOVARS Research Centre), James O'Shea, Alex O'Shea, Peter DeMoncey Conegliano, Jon Aveyard, Frederico Macedo, Chrissie Caulfield, Dale Perkins and Daz Disley and covers works range from noise music, electric violin, live instruments with processing, video, live electronics, works for fixed medium and instrument and more between them.
Start time: 10 am with coffee and tea with the first person introducing their work at 10.20 am. The event is due to finish at 5pm with a free improv session following in the evening.
